Best Western Phuket Ocean Resort is situated at the North end of Karon Beach on the hill side among the coconut groves. One of Phuket's most scenically beautiful vacation resorts. A few minutes' walk to the shopping center, Karon Village and local bus stop to Phuket town. Transport to and from Phuket Town or Airport is available at all times, 650 Baht/trip (Max of 4 people).

Location and surrounds are excellent

No problems I see here.

This was my third stay here. I enjoy the location and laid back feel of thos hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy. Staff are always accomodating and helpful. The hotel surrounds are beautiful and it is only 2 minutes to the beach or you can laze by one of three pools if the ocean is not your style. Food is always good here and I will stay again when next in Karon.

Rooms, too big complex

When we arrived we saw that the hotel is not directly at the beach, you have to cross a street to get there. We also did book a deluxe room but it looked like a standard/superior room. We decided to tell that our room was not satisfying but the staff did not respond to it.

Restaurant Tip : Eat swedish meatballs at the restaurant street of Karon!

Comfortable rooms, close to Karon Beach

Coackroach in room, week air conditioning

Our stay at the Phuket Ocean Resort was generally pleasant. The room is well designed, the pool is nice and the resort is situated relatively close to Karon beach. So accessibility is not a problem. However, we did find cockroaches and plenty of ants in our room so this is an issue.
