The main house:
Guests experience a refreshing sense of calm at the Six Senses as they enter over the arrival pool, with two sunken bars and seating areas. From several pathways, one will lead to The Den, with guest relations and a library to the left, and a bar to the right. The library features a glassed-in duplex wine cellar with suspended ladders to access wines on the upper level. The open-plan bar is also on two levels, very open planned with several sub-levels creating a more intimate feeling. The bar offers Asian Tapas, with a selection of specialty regional dishes. This area also has a small conference room.
A second pathway leads down to the dinning areas, passing the Six Senses Gallery en route, with an array of gift ideas, furnishings and apparel.
The living room & terrace:
Close to the beach, this all-day dining choice offers alfresco or undercover seating. The Living Room is constructed from traditional material such as timber flooring, coconut palm columns and classic thatching overhead. Offering tempting buffets at breakfast and at special dinner nights, it also showcases a deli and patisserie, into which guests are invited to wander in and help themselves. The Living Room offers world cuisine during the day and specializes in Thai Cuisine for the evenings. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with large comfortable seating areas offering booths as well as romantic dining on the extended terrace. There are also several outdoor dining pavilions.
The dining room:
A central split-level structure features a Chef’s Table on the top level, plus a cooking station wrapped around with one long table. The main dining area is on the lower level, with several private dinning pavilions scattered in the wild mangroves and plantation palms. A tranquil water feature meanders through this area – over a glass bottom floor – while organic vegetables and herbs gardens are close at hand for the freshest salads and to complement the exquisite Italian Cuisine in the Dining Room.
The villa dining:
Private in-villa or terrace dining compliments the secluded peaceful atmosphere. For the true romantic, the villa butler will arrange for a champagne breakfast, a private picnic or an evening barbecue beneath the stars, with a personal chef and waiter at the ready.
“Fabulous hotel located in paradise”
Although probably more suitable for honeymooners and couples due to the romatic location, my wife and I and our 2 young kids stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The island is quiet with few cars and it's not overly developed (yet).
Upon arrival at Phuket airport the hotel picked us up and took us on a 20-minute ride to the pier where a jet boat was waiting. The boat trip took us about 30 minutes on smooth waters. When we arrived at the island we were greeted and taken to our room. The check-in process was carried out in our room and we didn't have to go the lobby, which was nice and different. We also have to thank the Manager who gave us an upgrade to the Family pool villa with 2 bedrooms, which I must say was very thoughtful. The rooms have all the amenities and are well-designed and make you feel close to nature. Ours was sea view and like other reviewers say it's probably best to book a sea view room but the garden view rooms aren't bad either and make you feel like you're in a tropical jungle.

“It's paradise on earth for those who seek for a perfect getaway!!!”
Six Senses has got its own identities just like some of the brand name bags which cannot be copied easily. Staying in a simple-built Thai wooden style villa could make me feel as if I was staying in the golden palace. This is because of the harmony and the quality of the products and services that Six Senses Yao Noi could provide.
From watching a picturesque view of the rocks and islands in the sea from the resort, listening to the well-selected relaxing music in my room, smelling a beautiful smell of the green and ground, tasting a wonderful food and wine either at the restaurants or in my private villa, touching a very soft and comfy bed along with a natural walk on the fine wooden floor and feeling the genuinely smiles of the staffs. I could see that the staffs put all their attention in every single details which I could sense in six ways.
